OUT OF AREA BIDDERS AND ANY INVOICES TOTALING OVER $2,000 OR LOCAL PICKUPS SENDING A REPRESENTATIVE must pay with a bank wire transfer due by 5PM the day after the auciton. Items will not be allowed to be picked up until the funds are in our account. Bank wire instructions will be included with your unpaid invoice the evering of the auciton or by request.
A letter of authorization will be required if sending an agent to pick up your items. Local representative pickups may also bring cash.
If you live in the metro area pick up is required, we will not ship to local addresses.
Failure to pickup or make payment according to instruction may result in a ban from future auctions.
BUYER'S PREMIUM & BID CONTRACT:
A 10% Buyer's Premium will be added to all winning bids, resulting in the total purchase price. Your internet bids are a contract, and you are required to honor them.
SALES TAX/USE TAX
State law requires that we collect sales tax on all transaction of items that are picked up locally or shipped to locations in Kansas. We do not ship in the metro. If your business is tax exempt you will be required to annually fill out the Kansas Tax Exemption Form. Please see the documents link to download a copy. They are also available on the Kansas Department of Revenue site.
BID AND BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS
All bidders must register with a form of payment (credit or debit card, as listed above). INFORMATION ON THE CARD MUST MATCH BIDDER INFORMATION including address. Bidders with a history of non-payment or violations of terms and conditions will be excluded from bidding.
We may contact first time bidders by phone to confirm information. All bids may be pending until we can speak to the registered bidder and confirm information.
HIATT AUCITON LLC reserves the right to cancel any internet bids if the bidder refuses or fails cooperate with the auction company in a timely manner.
By registering to bid at this auction you authorize your confirmation of any required credit references, credit card companies and financial institutions to Hiatt Auction LLC.

By placing a bid, the bidder agrees that they will pick up and pay for all items according to the auction pickup schedule and terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in not being able to bid at future auctions and monetary damages may accrue. YOU are responsible for ANY bids placed on your account. Do not allow anyone else access to your account. Please do not bid if you cannot pay or pick up on time.
This is an internet only auction, which means the highest online bid in our system and showing when the bidding closes on the item will be the winning bid.

ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS-WHERE IS". PREVIEW IS ENCOURAGED.
Unless we state on the lot "tested-works" the item may not have been tested. There are NO warranties expressed or implied on any items. We strongly encourage bidders to preview items or contact us prior to bidding with questions. Once you have placed a bid it cannot be removed. Buyer assumes all risks at the conclusion of the auction. All sales are final. No refunds given. The buyer understands and agrees that credit or debit card transactions cannot be reversed. The buyer understands we have taken necessary precautions to avoid this.
Although mostly intact there are items are used and might have missing pieces of which we are not aware. Listings include descriptions and photographs based on general observation or information provided by the consigner. this is not meant to be substituted for or equate an inspection. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to conduct an inspection or examination of items prior to placing any bids.
In very rare cases some items may have to be removed at the seller's discretion. The auction may have to be rescheduled in extreme circumstances.

Items are listed by lot number and sold in that order.
INVOICING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION:
Unpaid invoices will be emailed to all bidders shortly after the conclusion of the auction. Check your spam folder if you do not receive one.
invoices over $2,000, agent pickups or out of area shipments will include bank wire transfer instructions in the body of the email. Payment will be due before 5:00 PM the day after the sale.
All other invoices require payment at pickup Friday or Saturday.
A link to schedule a pickup appointment and pickup instructions will also be included.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Cash or Bank Wire Transfers. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH APPS.
If not picking up in person Cash or wire transfer will be required. We will also require an email with the individuals name and information authorizing us to release items to them from the bidder/buyer.
Failure to pick up by the end of Saturday's appointments will result in addition $10 admin fee. If not picked up and paid for by the Wednesday following the auction bidder will be permanently banned from all future auctions.
ASSET PICKUP AND REMOVAL:
We do not ship in the metro or surrounding area. Please call prior to bidding if you have questions.
Please be courteous and schedule your pickup promptly in the time frame given. If you need to reschedule do so on the site to allow someone else to use your slot. If you are picking up 1-2 items that do not require forklift assistance or breakdown, please call us to advise your approximate pickup time.
We are closed from 12:30-1:15 to allow our staff a break for lunch.
Our staff will have items picked and ready to check out. At that time, please make sure all items are received. We cannot be responsible for missed items once you have left the premises.

FREIGHT SHIPMENTS: We will palatize all items and send you the dimensions and weights on each pallet. If you do not use a regular carrier, we recommend going to wwww.freightquote.com. You can compare prices and create a Bill of Lading on their site. Please note carriers consider our location "Residential". We will have forklift on standby Wednesday to load your freight. Pickup fro freight is Wednesday 1Pm to 5PM. We will contact you to confirm and finalize details. Failure to make pickup can result in a rescheduling fee.

Shipping:
OUT OF AREA BUYERS: Out of area buyers are responsible for shipping on all items that can be shipped, or they can pick up. Shipping prep and transport for parcels available for additional service fee. Please note we will prep and ship parcels and freight by the following Wednesday. Shipments 50# or less will be shipped at the lowest cost between UPS and USPS. We will prep items for shipping and charge the buyer our prep fee and any shipping costs for first class priority or UPS Ground. More details below. If shipping or having an agent pick up items purchase payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipping arrangements must be made by email. Please contact us prior to scheduling freight pickups. If you need assistance getting a quote for shipping, we can supply the dims and weight. We recommend freightquote.com for obtaining rates.
PARCEL SHIPMENTS: $20 per 50# item/shipment. We will charge card on file to reimburse for postage. Must receive email authorizing shipment. We will get quotes for USPS or UPS shipping costs and debit before shipping. Anticipate delivery to US Post Office or UPS by Wednesday after the sale or sooner. Estimated shipping fee debited prior to shipping. Any additional fees will be added, if necessary, after that. Failure to make payment for shipping will result in storage fees for 5 days. After 5 days all items are considered abandoned and will be disposed of or resold.
