TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BY REGISTERING TO BID
 YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES AND TERMS:

THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY TO ALL HIATT AUCTION SALES: (unless specified on specific event information):

TERMS: Registration to the auction binds bidder to the following terms: All items sold as is, where is. Inspect items befor bidding.  Once bidder obtains winning bid he or she is responsible for the property. No warranties expressed or implied.Statements made day of sale take precedence over any written material. No item may be removed until paid for. All items must be paid for by end of sale. Bidder must be over18 with legal I.D.

 Method of Payment: Cash,  or add 5% for check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and debit.  When writing a check funds will be automatically debited out of your account. Information on check must match legal ID and registered bidder information.

 BIDDER MUST ALWAYS HAVE CURRENT LEGAL PHOTO I.D. TO BID.

Auctioneer’s word takes precedence over all printed material.

AUCTIONEER IS ACTING AS AGENT FOR SELLER.

PLEASE NOTE!!: THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT IS BETWEEN ALANDON TOW SERVICE AND THE BUYER. HIATT AUCTION STAFF SERVE ONLY AS AGENTS TO REGISTER BIDDERS, ACQUIRE THE BID AND RECEIVE PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE AUCTION. ANY QUESTIONS OR INFORMATION REGARDING TERMS, SALE INFORMATION, VEHICLES OR PAPERWORK SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO ALANDON TOW AT 913-596-1770 

RAIN OR SHINE. ANYONE ENTERING THE LOT MUST BE OVER 18 W/CURRENT LEGAL DRIVER’S LICENSE OR STATE ISSUED PHOTO NON-DRIVERS LICENSE TO ENTER LOT. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

BIDDING BY NUMBER-ALL ITEMS SOLD AS IS-WHERE IS. WE ENCOURAGE BIDDERS TO EXAMINE CARS PRIOR TO BIDDING.

WINNING BIDDER IS OBLIGATED TO PAY IN FULL BY THE END OF THE SALE.

YOU WILL RECEIVE A BILL OF SALE WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PAID FOR IN FULL

YOU MAY NOT REMOVE THE VEHICLES UNTIL AFTER THE SALE AND ONLY WITH THE BILL OF SALE. THE GATE MAN WILL GIVE YOU THE KEYS, IF THERE ARE ANY, WHEN YOU SHOW HIM THE BILL OF SALE AT THE GATE.

VEHICLES MAY BE REMOVED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 AM AND 4:00 PM THROUGH FRIDAY OF THE WEEK OF THE SALE. THE STORAGE FEE OF $15.00 PER DAY WILL BEGIN FOR ALL VEHICLES STILL IN THE LOT.

FORMS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED: CASH, MASTERCARD, VISA AND APPROVED CHECKS CHECKS ARE CLEARED THROUGH TELECHECK. NOTE:  PER KANSAS STATUTES...KSA 21-3707 AND KSA 21-3708. THIS NOTICE WILL CONSTITUTE THE 7 DAY NOTICE AS REQUIRED BY LAW REGARDING RETURNED AND/OR INSUFFICIENT FUND CHECKS. IF, WITHIN THAT 7 DAYS YOU HAVE NOT SATISFIED THE MATTER, THE CHECK WILL BE SENT TO THE WYANDOTTE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR PROSECUTION UNDER THE LAW.

ANYONE FOUND TAMPERING WITH A VEHICLE COULD BE SUBJECT TO ARREST.

A FEE OF $10.00 IS PAYABLE FOR FORKLIFT LOADING YOUR VEHICLE.

THERE WILL BE A $50.00 FEE THROUGH FRIDAY OF SALE WEEK FOR YOUR PAPERWORK PACKET TO APPLY FOR A TITLE. THE FOLLOWING MONDAY IT INCREASES AND ADDITIONAL $25.00 AND $25.00 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL WEEK THEREAFTER.

NOTHING REMOVED UNTIL SETTLED FOR. CARS MAY NOT BE MOVED UNTIL AUCTION IS OVER AND BIDDERS HAVE VACATED THE LOT. CARS MUST BE PAID FOR IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE AUCTION-NO EXCEPTIONS.

SELLERS WORD TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER ANY WRITTEN MATERIAL.

BATTERIES AVAILABLE AFTER THE SALE $20.00

PORTAPOTTY IS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE MAIN OFFICE BUILDING.
